Biography

Casimiro Gonzalez was born in El Saucejo (Sevilla) in 1944. Since childhood sientre great passion for guitar received his first lessons at age ten. In 1962 he moved to Barcelona with his family and there continues to study flamenco guitar with the master Paquito Simon and courses with Niņo Ricardo. In the mid-70s is part of the poetic-musical Miguel Hernandez, also dedicated to teaching flamenco guitar. It is at that time when he meets the teacher Eulogio Davalos and teaches at his music studio, working also with several musical projects. Among his students at the time, currently the most prominent are Juan Gomez Chicuelo and Pedro Sierra.

His love of guitar leads in the late 80s to start his role as a builder, learning the craft or art with his teacher and luthier Manuel Mayoral. The good results with their first instruments to be installed it in his own workshop in 1990. Thereafter began a period of study and improvement of construction and the sound of classical guitar and Flemish. In 1994 he moved to Talarn (small town in the Catalan Pyrenees). Today is located in the Ordal (Barcelona).
